Pete Wilkins was introduced to woodturning
because of his brother-in-law's death. Pete inherited the lathe and tools from
his brother-in-law Abe Harper, a noted turner in Berea, KY. The lathe used is a
homemade lathe which Abe built. Pete has been turning since July 2002.

Cherry bowl roughed by Abe Harper in April 2000, completed by Pete Wilkins in July 2002, Pete's first project - 11".
