Buddy Riley has been a lathe turner for the last 20 years. He did spindle reproductions until 4 years ago when he joined the LAW and experienced bowl turning, this piqued his interest and gave him greater appreciation of wood. Today he likes to turn hollow forms and feel the texture and lines of a piece of wood. A plain fruit bowls’ fluid grace still is a work that many turners enjoy to hold. Part of the pleasure is to make a piece that someone picks up, sets down, and has to hold it again. Send an email to Buddy. Visit Buddy's web site.
