Mac Langford started turning many years ago when his wife Jan gave him two books by Dale Nish. He turns on a Bonnie Klein lathe, General and Delta lathes, using a Shop Smith as a drill press. An occasional artistic piece is a challenge but his real love is functional turning. Memberships in The American Association Of Woodturners, The Tennessee Association Of Woodturners, The Ohio Valley Woodturners Guild, The Louisville Area Woodturners, The Louisville Artisans Guild and The Kentucky Museum Of Arts + Design, provide the stimulus for an ongoing interest in turning. He also loves to share knowledge and teach beginners. His motto is, "Learn To Turn"! Send an email to Mac.
